Each interactive presentation is approximately 60 minutes in length, and is suitable for students from Grade 8 to 12.  Workshops compliment grade 10 Careers curriculum or for Cooperative Education students.

FALL PREVENTION TRAINING:  Perfect for students involved in construction technology, coop or Specialist High Skills Majors programs.  Students will learn to recognize and eliminate fall hazards, learn the proper used of safety harnesses and other personal protective equipment.  Ladder and scaffold safety will also be covered. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a wallet card, accepted by Ministry of Labor inspectors.  (2.5 Hours)

WHMIS:
  Program designed to provide work specific safety training in WHMIS and working with the MSDS.  Students will learn to recognize hazard symbols and understand they significance, they will learn to read supplier labels, as well as understanding their rights through the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Upon successful completion of the program, student receive a wallet card and certificate. (2.5 Hours)
