Family Life Education Program
o Kindergarten – Care for Kids: A Health Sexuality and Child Abuse Prevention Program
o Fully Alive – Grades 1-8
o AIDS: A Catholic Approach to HIV
o Turning Points – Grades 9 and 10
o  Reaching Out – Grades 11 and 12

The Family Life Programs have been approved by the Ontario Conference of Catholic Bishops are the programs that are taught in our schools. Religious Education and Family Life are taught at minimum thirty minutes per day in elementary schools. Eighty percent of the allotted time is dedicated to Religious Education and twenty percent is given to Family Life. Health nurses or outside agencies are used as a resource only. Only teachers hired by the Board are approved to teach these programs.
