We Continue To Be a K-8 School

Welcome to Holy Name of Mary Elementary School, located in Almonte, Ontario. We are part of the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario. HNOM serves the communities of Almonte, Mississippi Mills and the surrounding areas.

At the end of the 2010-2011 school year we were honoured with the distinction of being a Peaceful School. We celebrated with the accepting and raising of our new flag, and creating a peace sign as a whole school - symbolizing working together.

We had the opportunity to have the NED Show visit our school and present for K-8.

Necessary School Supplies 2011-2012

In preparation for September start-up,
Kindergarten to Grade 8 students
are responsible for the following items:

INDOOR SHOES
Lunch Kit
Backpack
Grades 3-8 students will require:
Pencils
Markers
Math set
Scissors
Loose leaf paper
Highlighters
Pens
Pencil crayons
French/English Dictionary – for grades 7 & 8
and French Immersion classes (optional for other grades)
