Our Board’s theme this year continues to be “We Walk in Good Company!”  This theme provides staff and students with the opportunity to look at Jesus as the Good Shepherd.

     Day to day, we journey with so many different people including our Clergy, religious leaders, family, friends and partners in Catholic education.  This theme allows our faith-filled community the opportunity to emulate the leadership, compassion and concern of Jesus for those who are less fortunate than us.  It allows all of us to respond to social justice issues as they arise in our communities, our country and around the world.

    This year, we will reflect on building the important partnerships that ensure we build on delivering quality Catholic education to the students and parents we serve.  The Catholic Education Coalition, Parent Involvement Committee, and the Special Education Advisory Committee will continue to focus on building partnerships between home, school, parish, and community.  There is strength in numbers; all of us working together will ensure we are focused on the body, heart, mind and soul of those we encounter on our journey.

     Thank you for selecting the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario to educate your child.  It is not something we take lightly; rather, it is a vocation for all of us to ensure we meet the needs of your child.  Our staff strives to provide excellence in Catholic education.
