"Where every child learns to succeed!"
Through the teachings of Christ we promote a learning environment that fosters faith, hope, peace, patience and understanding.

Lord, as we look forward to summer vacation help us to find ways to keep You in the schedule - even after the school Masses and other structured, faith-based events are on hold. Help us to continue the faith formation of our children over the vacation and lead us to resources, people and events that will assist us. Guide us with your love and peace and protect us from evil. Amen.

  Principal's Message

June has arrived and we have much to be proud of as a school community. It seems like just yesterday that we gathered at our Open House Barbeque as a school family. I am proud to say that we are fortunate to have a school community that works in the best interest of children.
Thank you to parents, and teachers who worked diligently throughout the school year to prepare the grade 3 and 6 students for the EQAO Primary and Junior Assessment. We look forward to seeing the results in the fall.

Please continue your commitment to your child’s education during July and August. Keeping your child reading throughout the summer will improve their literacy skills.

The turnout at our Spaghetti Dinner helped to raise over $1000.00 for the school. Thank you to all parents and students who took part in this event.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Grade 8 student Janisiya Srithar who won the Provincial Public Speaking Competition which was held in Kirkland Lake in May. Your hard work and dedication certainly paid off!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
May God keep you healthy and safe during the summer. See you on September 7th, 2010.

Yours in Catholic Education,
Frances Spagnolo
