April 8th, 2009 Cancer Relay for Life Rally
We would like to extend a thank you to all family and community members who atttended
our Cancer Relay for Life Awareness Ceremony on April 8th, 2009 at 1:00p.m. This
ceremony helped to enlighten our school community on how they can participate
and make a difference in cancer research.

Looking for Parent Volunteers for Relay for Life May 29th, 2009
We are looking for parents who would be able to volunteer their services on
either the day of the event May 29th, 2009 or the morning of during our pancake
breakfast on May 30th, 2009. We are hoping to have some parents for either short
or long shifts. We can arrange it to fit your schedule. It would be greatly
appreciated if there are some parents from our school community that would be
able to help us out in any way in areas such as food preparation, sales,
registration, security, parent supervision of elementary teams and so much more.
What is Relay For Life?
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back in the hope of finding a cure for this terrible disease.
