Our Mission

To provide a quality education which integrates faith so that every aspect of the curriculum is taught in light of the Gospel

To create a faith community which recognizes the interdependence of the members of the Mother Teresa Catholic School community - students, parents, teachers, support staff and priest - in imparting the beliefs and values of our Christian community.

To develop the spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical talents of each student in an atmosphere of faith; to educate each child for life long learning. Individual talents, skills, and abilities are cultivated in such a manner as to instil a sense of personal responsibility to God and to society.

To enhance our community responsibility, to help those around us, especially those with special needs. By giving to those in need, we reflect the values of Jesus, our Saviour.

Our Namesake ~ Mother Teresa

Born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in 1910 in Skopje, Yugoslavia, she joined the Sisters of Loreto in 1928 and became "Teresa." In 1948, she cared for a woman found half-dead lying in front of a Calcutta hospital. From that time on, Mother Teresa dedicated most of her life to helping the poorest in India. She founded an order of nuns called the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India, and in 1952, she founded a home for the dying. Mother Teresa also won the Nobel Peace Prize for all her efforts. She died in her convent in India on September 5th, 1997.

Like Mother Teresa, we at Mother Teresa Catholic School have "Hearts to Love and Hands to Serve!"
