French Programs

In 1990, the school opened as a French Immersion school. However, the school offers a choice between French Immersion and Core French in the Primary grades. Core French is being phased into the other grade levels one year at a time.

Students enrolled in the French Immersion program spend half of their day in French. They receive French Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education and some of the arts in French. French Immersion is offered at all grade levels (Junior Kindergarten to Gr. 8).

Students enrolled in the Core French program receive French Language Arts in French (40 minutes a day) and all other subjects are taught in English.
