Principal's Message

Welcome to the St. Jude Catholic School Website. Please take the time to browse the site and discover a wealth of information about our school and the student life at St. Jude Catholic School. We appreciate the efforts and continued support of our families, our parish and of community agencies in making the children’s experience at school a successful one.

St. Jude Catholic School is a modern building that houses over 300 students from the Vankleek Hill and Hawkesbury areas. More than 25 staff members work at providing quality Catholic education to the students. The school opened in 1990 in Hawkesbury. Our community grew and was moved in 1997 to its present location.

Students receive a challenging academic curriculum, a variety of varsity sports and clubs, and a choice of French programs. Students enrolled at St. Jude benefit from a Christian environment based on the Gospel values of Jesus Christ. Religious and Family Life education is more than a subject at the school; it permeates all aspects of school life. Part of our day includes learning about justice, fortitude, prudence, temperance, faith, hope and love. Identifying the virtues is the important first step to putting them into action. The Staff engages students in activities that require them to put the virtues into action in order to make a difference in the school, the local communities, and the world at large. These social justice activities reflect our board theme which is Shalom.
