Carolyn Crosby, Teacher at St. Luke CHS, Wins OAME Mathematics Award

Carolyn Crosby, a teacher at St. Luke Catholic High School in Smiths Falls, received the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education award for Exceptional and Creative Teaching in Secondary Mathematics at the OAME Annual Banquet on May 3, 2013. Her dedication in developing hands-on activities for all students led to the development of a mathematics resource for students who pursue their studies in the locally developed/workplace pathway. The resource focuses on both numeracy and literacy skills to support students in their future careers.
