The Communications Department is the sole source of official information about events taking place in schools and throughout our system. We provide newsworthy information to the media in a timely fashion, facilitate media interviews as requested, and perform a variety of other functions, including:
- Developing awareness campaigns
- Producing the Board Meeting Highlights
- Producing various publications, including the Director’s Annual Report
- Overseeing the production of Board videos, brochures, infographics, and other multimedia projects
- Managing the Board’s website
- Managing social media sites
- Media relations
