Sacred Heart Catholic School	Chain of Kindness – in classrooms and hallway for our school (AM) Messages of Hope to give to SJCSS Grade 7/8 (2:00)
St. Andrew’s Catholic School	By honouring human dignity… staff will post this theme for Monday, May 5, and begin a week-long Food Drive.
St. Anne Catholic School	Daily Theme: Sunshine Day – Wear your favourite shades and hat. CDSBEO Virtual Mass for all classes at 11:00 am.
St. Francis de Sales Catholic School	Scholastic Book Fair Opens! Students will have a chance to visit and select some books to purchase.
St. Francis Xavier CHS	We will begin with prayers, a theme for the day and a song. Class visits and presentation on Catholic Education.
St. John Catholic Elementary School	Classroom Connection Kick-off for CEW / MHW *Admin will go class to class to greet/celebrate CEW and MHW – peanut-free treat for each student E-sports team traveling to St. Mary, CP to participate in Esports tournament
St. John Catholic High School	LCIAA Sr. Boys Soccer Game 1:00 pm
St. John Paul II Catholic School	Attend Liturgy at 10:00 am You will take a lantern back to your classroom and place on your religion table. Ask students to fill in a slip of paper identifying glimmers of hope they have witnessed throughout the week. Start art for art show that will be held at the end of the month during the Umbrella skills assembly.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School	Throughout the day, various classes will be participating in Christian Meditation in the school Chapel to bring awareness of self-compassion and bringing peace to ourselves and the world.
St. Mark Catholic School	Catholic Education Week School Mass 9:30-11:00 am St. Mark Catholic Church
St. Mary Catholic High School	Grade 9 and 10 Religion classes creating cards for seniors in the local community, with messages of HOPE (various times)
St. Mary, Carleton Place	Eastern Ontario ESports Championships with students from elementary schools from Brockville, Lanark, Westport, Perth, Carleton Place, Smiths Falls and Almonte. The event will have 60 – 100 students from across our board in grades 4 – 6 competing. School Gym 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
St. Michael Catholic High School	Christian Meditation, whole school over PA Heart Activity – all homerooms/P1 classes receive a heart. Students write a name or phrase on it related to Human Dignity. We post school-wide on wall outside the chapel as a collage.

St. Anne Catholic School	Daily Theme: Crazy Hair Day School Read Aloud on TEAMS – Little Turtle and the Changing Sea
St. Andrew’s Catholic School	Based on the theme “By caring for creation” our school will plant a tree in honour of CEW Week. Our primary students will be completing a nature scavenger hunt and planting flowers.
St. Francis Xavier CHS	We will begin with prayers, a theme for the day and a song (provide by the board) Class collage or art craft

St. John Catholic Elementary School	May School Mass 10:00 – 11:00 am St. John Church Bus Driver and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon – volunteers and bus drivers are invited to celebrate Mass with our whole school and then participate in a thank you luncheon in the gym afterwards.
St. John Paul II Catholic School	Class rock for yard: Each class will be given a steppingstone that is to be painted, and we will place them around the school. Students will create their own lantern which will be posted on the gym wall for Catholic Education Week.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School	The Chaplain will guide various classes on a Nature Walk to experience the sacredness and care of creation. Various times.
St. Jude Catholic School	Bernadette Clement Presentation 2:00 pm Bernadette will be talking to grades 4 – 8 students about her journey and the obstacles she faced becoming Ontario’s first black, female mayor and a Canadian Senator.
St. Mary Catholic School, Carleton Place	Meditation workshops for students School gym All students and grades will take part in a workshop of approximately 30 minutes as part of Mental Health Week and Catholic Education Week.
St. Mary Catholic High School	Visuals of HOPE: senior Art classes and the 7/8 art classes will begin creating visuals of hope through clay and Lego. *ongoing throughout the week
St. Michael Catholic High School	Staff Greeting of all students off bus. CEW Mass – period 1 Wheelchair Basketball in the Gym

St. Peter Catholic School	Caring for Creation: Nature Scavenger Hunt at Menard Park Time will vary depending on teacher schedule – Junior Teachers will read various texts (Tiny Perfect Thing, Trash or Treasure, etc) and task students to discover similar book themes themselves. They’ll return to school to discuss. – Primary Teachers will create a nature scavenger hunt for their students

St. Mary Catholic School, Carleton Place	Grade 4 Open House All Grade 3 students and their families are invited to an Open House at our school to tour the school, meet the staff and have some snacks as we get ready to welcome them to our school community in the fall. This event will take place from 4:30 – 6:00pm.
St. Mary CHS	Period 1 – CEW Mass Weather permitting, the MEP Gym class will be doing a “walk of hope” where they do a reflective walk, observing moments of hope in our local area.

St. John Catholic Elementary School	Spaghetti Dinner: Community members are invited to join us for our second annual Spaghetti Dinner 4:30 – 7:00 pm School Gym All are welcome as our community comes together and our Junior students learn/demonstrate leadership greeting and serving our community. The Spaghetti Dinner is a whole school event sponsored by our school staff in support of our very important School Nutrition Program. The evening features student art display and auction!

St. Jude Catholic School	Self-Care Day Students will work through a series of six activities in the afternoon to learn about things such as Christian meditation, healthy eating, good mental health habits and other ways of taking care of yourself.

St. Mary Catholic High School	Grade 9-11 Classes are doing “Writing Reflections of HOPE” – using vertical spaces students will explore various quotes on HOPE then complete a reflective writing piece using music or poetry. Period 4 – Whole school community activity – BINGO – bringing hope and joy and fun to the completion of the week!
