My Career Journey – Explore Postsecondary Options to Rewarding Careers

The Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security has recently launched My Career Journey, a new website that can help parents and their teens explore postsecondary options that can lead to rewarding careers.

Explore the education you need to start your dream career

For students and parents, preparing for a life after high school can feel overwhelming, especially when you don’t know what options are available. My Career Journey simplifies this process – consolidating career and postsecondary options in one easy to use tool.

Through My Career Journey, parents and students can:

  • Get personalized guidance: A short questionnaire provides tailored education and career resources, turning interests into concrete next steps.
  • Find postsecondary education by region: See Ontario colleges, universities and Indigenous Institutes that offer your preferred programs of study in your area of choice.
  • Explore careers: Browse career profiles for in-demand jobs with useful information such as median salary, required education and training, links to related postsecondary programs and the number of recent job postings.

By connecting higher education options to real-world careers, My Career Journey helps students and families plan with confidence: ontario.ca/mycareerjourney
