ServiceOntario Mobile Clinics Support CDSBEO Students

Students across the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario are getting helpful support right at school, thanks to visiting ServiceOntario Mobile Health Card & ID Clinics.

These clinics have already visited several secondary schools, with more visits planned in the coming weeks. Recently, the mobile clinic was at St. Michael Catholic High School, where students had the opportunity to access important services in a familiar setting.

The mobile clinics are designed especially for students around the age of 16, helping them prepare for the responsibilities that come with adulthood. On-site, students can renew their health card, apply for an Ontario Photo Card, and learn about how to get a driver’s licence. Staff are also available to answer questions and guide students through each step.

By bringing these services directly into schools, students can take care of important tasks without needing to travel or miss time outside of class. It also helps families by making the process more accessible and easier to plan for.

Students who attend the clinics are reminded to bring the proper documents, such as proof of address and proof of signature, to complete their applications.

This partnership is a great example of how CDSBEO continues to support student success by connecting learning with real-life skills and responsibilities.
