The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of students who were recognized at the 2026 YourTV Youth Achievement Awards. 

Presented by YourTV and powered by the Optimist Club of Cornwall, the awards ceremony took place on June 4, 2026, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297 in Cornwall. The annual event recognizes students in Grades 4 to 12 from local school boards who demonstrate excellence, achievement, leadership, community involvement, and kindness. This year, CDSBEO students earned 16 of the 24 awards presented. 

Awards were presented in three categories: At My Best, Giving Back, and Kindness is Cool. Students were recognized for achievements in academics, athletics, music, art, writing, and drama, as well as their dedication to helping others and demonstrating compassion and leadership. 

As part of the ceremony, each award recipient was invited to sign the City of Cornwall’s official Book of Recognition, a special honour that records their achievement as part of the community’s history.
