This September marks the 46th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run, a Canadian tradition that continues to bring people together in support of cancer research. Terry’s determination, courage and hope continue to inspire people of all ages. 

Across CDSBEO, students are taking part in Terry Fox School Runs and fundraising activities throughout September and beyond. These events provide an opportunity to learn about Terry’s story, honour his legacy and support the ongoing work of cancer researchers. 

The 2026 Terry Fox School Run will take place on September 28, although schools may choose a different date that works for their school calendar. Details about upcoming activities can be found on participating CDSBEO school websites.
