Congratulations to our military co‑op students on their exciting achievement! Nine students from five different high schools across CDSBEO were selected by the Canadian Armed Forces to take part in a dynamic, semester‑long co‑op opportunity.

Their experience began at Connaught Military Base, where they completed their Basic Military Training throughout February. Through demanding training and new challenges, these students showed determination, resilience, and a strong commitment to excellence as they successfully completed the program.

With this milestone reached, they are now moving on to the next phase of their training. Upcoming experiences include Military Driver Qualifications, Winter Warfare and Survival Training, Combat Logistics, and trade qualification training.

Upon completion, participants may choose to continue serving in the Reserves or Regular Forces and pursue occupation‑specific training over the summer as they continue building their future pathways.

We are extremely proud of their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing what they accomplish next.
