On Saturday, October 25, CDSBEO International Students visited Upper Canada Village for the PumpkInferno event, one of Eastern Ontario’s most popular fall attractions.

The event featured over 9,000 hand-carved pumpkins, each lit up and arranged into detailed displays. From mythical creatures to famous landmarks, students enjoyed exploring the glowing village and seeing the creativity in every display.

This trip was also a valuable learning experience. Students learned about Canadian autumn traditions, seasonal celebrations, and local history, all while spending time with new friends.

For our Spanish short-term International Students, this was their first cultural and educational trip in Canada. Many are studying abroad for the first time through scholarship programs.

We are grateful to the CDSBEO International Education Team for making this trip possible and giving students the chance to experience Canadian traditions firsthand.
