The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) is pleased to announce that Duncan King has been officially installed as Associate Student Trustee for the 2026–2027 school year.

Duncan, a Grade 11 student at St. John Catholic High School, was elected to the position by the Student Senate in April.

As Associate Student Trustee, Duncan will help represent more than 14,000 students across the CDSBEO and support the work of the Student Senate. The Senate provides an opportunity for students from across the Board to share ideas, discuss matters that are important to students, gather feedback, and develop communications for their peers.

The Student Senate also provides student council leaders and senators with opportunities to develop leadership skills and make a difference in their schools.

The CDSBEO looks forward to working with Duncan in his new role and wishes him a successful 2026–2027 school year.
