Ensure you are registered to vote as a Catholic school supporter

As a registered Catholic school supporter, you have the opportunity to elect trustees who will represent and address your interests and concerns at the school board level and at various levels of the government. Ensuring you are registered as a separate (Catholic) school supporter is important for the protection and preservation of Catholic education in Ontario.
Whether you own or rent your home, you can choose which school board your property supports, even if no one in your household currently attends school. As an English Separate School Supporter, you are investing in the future of Catholic education, you are a partner with Catholic education, and you help foster a strong political voice through your elected representative (Trustee). Even if you have been an English Separate School Supporter in the past, the designation does not follow you when you relocate. Each time you move, it is essential that you re-declare yourself as an English Separate school supporter.
Homeowners and tenants should review their school support designations, and if needed, update them by June 1, 2026, to be accurately included on the Preliminary List of Electors ahead of the municipal and school board elections on October 26, 2026. You can review or update your school support designation online using the MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) online portal.
