The Communications Department is the sole source of official information about events taking place in schools and throughout our system. We provide newsworthy information to the media in a timely fashion, facilitate media interviews as requested, and perform a variety of other functions, including:

• Developing awareness campaigns
• Producing the Board Meeting Highlights
• Producing various publications, including the Director’s Annual Report
• Overseeing the production of Board videos, brochures, infographics, and other multimedia projects
• Managing the Board’s website
• Managing social media sites
• Media relations
