Educating and Inspiring… heart, mind, body, and soul!

CDSBEO Catholic Education Week Mass 2024

On May 6th, the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario came together in a spirit of faith and community at St. Philip Neri Parish in Toledo for the annual Catholic Education Week Mass. This special event, held as part of Catholic Education Week, provided an opportunity for trustees, administration, staff, and students to unite in prayer and reflection.

Led by Most Reverend Michael Mulhall, Archbishop of Kingston, the Eucharistic Celebration began with a welcoming introduction by Tracey Clarey, Principal of St. Joseph Catholic School, followed by warm greetings from CDSBEO Board Chair Sue Wilson and Director of Education Laurie Corrigan.

We’re grateful to St. Joseph Catholic School for hosting both the Mass, with beautiful music led by their choir, and the luncheon, where elementary students entertained guests with a surprise performance.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this celebration truly special. Your dedication, support, and commitment to Catholic education are deeply appreciated and continue to inspire us as we journey forward together in faith.

Join us as we continue to embrace the theme of Catholic Education Week—We are called to love—and strive to live out its message of love, hope, and service in our schools and communities.
