Three CDSBEO Students Accepted to National Shad Program

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario is proud to recognize three students who have been accepted into the prestigious Shad summer program.
Selected through a highly competitive national application process, these students will join peers from across Canada for a month-long learning experience focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM), entrepreneurship, and career exploration at Canadian post-secondary institutions.
The CDSBEO students accepted to Shad 2026 are:

For more than 45 years, Shad Canada has provided exceptional learning opportunities for students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Participants engage in hands-on projects, collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds, and explore future pathways in education and careers.
Acceptance into the program is a significant accomplishment and reflects the dedication, curiosity, and hard work of these students.
The CDSBEO congratulates Alexa, Mia, and Alyssa on this outstanding achievement and wishes them a rewarding and memorable experience this summer.
