Information Sheets for Parents: Financial Literacy and Bullying

The Ministry of Education is pleased to share helpful information sheets for parents. These one-pagers are designed to highlight important issues or initiatives to keep parents informed and help to support their child in reaching their full potential.

  • Financial Literacy – As financial literacy is now core learning across curriculum for Grades 1 to 12, the ministry is pleased to introduce interactive online lessons for parents to use with their children which covers the value and use of money, managing personal finances such as budgeting and investing wisely.   • Bullying: We can all help stop it  – This year, Bullying Prevention and Awareness Week takes place between November 19 to 25, 2023. We encourage everyone – students, parents, guardians, educators – to get involved with bullying. The guide, ‘Bullying: We can all help stop it’ has information about bullying, including cyberbullying, what you can do if your child is being bullied, has witnessed bullying or may be bullying others.
